Here are some pictures from today's Taipei Times that show the wind and flooding. It wasn't as bad in the evening as we expected. There was a lot of rain and some places were flooded, and also there have been landslides. But where we are it has stopped raining.

thanks for leaving a comment on my blog. Yes, my Son no. 3 is 8 years old and in Class 2. Are you from a Steiner school then? (Most kids say Grade 2, not Class 2, so that was my clue ...)

I think I will try the Deltora Quest books. Now we are both reading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
I haven't actually eaten the 'Guts' chocolate bar yet because Mum says I am already having enough sugar every day.
